This is a collaborative piece with artist, Maryam Rouhi. It is made out of 225 stoneware tiles, designed differently. Glaze is low fire (^04) traditional Persian blue. The arch is made out of extruded pieces, high fired (^10).
This piece is about human beings and that they are the same. There seven billions different people on earth. They are all different but also the same. The grids, lines, broken pieces of mirror and linear arch imply the difference quality. As a whole it is one piece even the broken pieces of one's reflection in the mirror.
